Izzy Maternity donates clothes for family event
Izzy Maternity donated nearly $1,000 worth of maternity clothes to the annual Feria de la Familia, Salud y Educacion event on Saturday, July 26, to be raffled to attendees. The event, sponsored by Univision 34, is a health and education fair that provides valuable information to the Latino community of Atlanta.
The fair was held at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Norcross. Both voter registration and health screenings were some of the services offered. The organizations that participated in the event included the American Heart Association, the Diabetes Association of Atlanta, Aid Atlanta and the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials. Nearly 5,000 people attended the event.
Catering to the Atlanta Latino community is important to Izzy Maternity. This is the second time the store has contributed to the Feria de la Familia event.
“We understand the importance of Latino consumers to our business, and we are happy to give back in any way,” says Israel Vahaba, owner and founder of Izzy Maternity.
